What can we all do to help save our city? Well what we can do is that we can help and pick up rubbish whenever you see one even though if it's not yours. We can try and go around GI and pick up the rubbish on saturdays or even if you are free.
We all have special jobs that we all can do, what we can all do is that we can try helping by not littering on the ground we can put in the bin even if you can't find the bin or if there is no bins around you then you can just put in your pocket or hold it until you get home and then you can put it in the bin.
In two more weeks there is going to be an exhibition happening at the te oro. It is all about te taiao o tamaki. There are going to be different kind of presentation from different other schools. So please help save the sea animals.

Te Taiao o Tamaki
Te Taiao O Tamaki:
What we are learning about this term is that we are learning about kawa of care. What is Kawa of care? well Kawa of care is a way of saying how we could protect our environment. How we can protect it is that we could try and stop preventing water pollution by not littering.
Littering has caused water pollution and land pollution, how it is prevented? People sometimes dumps their rubbish on the road or on the side of the beach. What we can do to stop it is that if we see a piece of rubbish that is not even yours then you can just pick it up.
If you won’t pick it up then the wind will blow it until it reaches the beach, the wind will blow and blow and blow until it is the sea. When living creatures in the sea eats they will die. Then when you go fishing or a walk you might catch a fish that has been eating plastics, or you could find a dead washed up whale on the beach.
There are different types of pollution like water pollution which is the biggest problems, air pollution, land pollution, and others. Pollution is also caused by many different things like car gasses linking on the road, Factories, littering, Farms and many things.

WALT: Use Multiplication and division to solve fractions problems.
This week we have been learning all about " Fractions". What the task asked me to do is that it asked me to solve fractions using some word problems and showing how I got that answer. What I have learned from this task is that when we are using fractions and divisions we have to split the important number into equal groups. On top of this blurb is a presentation that my teacher has created for us to solve and to learn. Then on the side is pictures of my working out.
