Journey Brainstorm

WALT: Make inferences from information provided in a text.

This weeks reading activity is called the "Journey". The Journey is a Non-fiction story. This Non-fiction story is a really sad story about these Polynesian peoples. Warriors from other countries has came to the Polynesian and have destroyed their country. A man named Iwirori has helped his extended family to escape their country without any warriors noticing them leaving, if the warriors had seen them then they would have kill them. I hope you read more of my blog post to find out more about this Journey story.

Attitude: Who am I?

WALT: finish of our task and understand the meaning of our text so we can write a recount.

                                       WHO AM I ?

This term we had special things, One of them was from the Attitude team, his name is Nate Kandraculah. What he was talking about was “Who am I?”, What he was basically talking about was that we had to find who we really are. There were animals that were like us, for example a Otter, an otter is standing for they do crazy stuff and fun at the same time, the lion was the leader of everything, the beaver was the hard working person who would never give up anything and could help their family to get some food and stuff, and golden retriever is a kind of dog that is very very kind, if you are this golden retriever then you would help nearly every one for example if there was this beaver walking down the road and there was a bump between the road, but the beaver never saw it, it was running so fast then it tripped up, the golden retriever would come up to you and would help you out or rather take you to the doctors. If I would have to find out who am I? Think I am the otter and a bit of Golden retriever.

Revolution Tour-2016

WALT: Write our own recount about our journeys

                                             Revolution Tour
Last term there was a group called the revolution tour that had came and visit us, what they did was some talking, singing and also teaching us a good thing. There was one man called Reggie, he once told us a sad very sad story and his story went like this. Reggie was small and he had a mother, when his mother gave birth to him she was around 16 years old which is very young to have a baby, she gave him away to her favorite teacher. And her favorite teacher was his mum know, Reggie found out that he has a brother and a sister from his real mum, the saddest thing was that his mum kept his sister, then she kept his brother, and sadly gave him away, When he told us that story we all started feeling very sad.
