Being a Champion

Have you heard about peter Snell before?Peter Snell is an player for the Olympics and the commonwealth games.The game that he always play is enjoying running.If a thing is worth doing,it's worth doing well-Peter Snell.Whatever you do,work at it with all your heart.......-Paul(Colossians Chapter 3 Verse 23).One thing  that I would like to be a champion in is table tennis ,because it's like a simple game.

Audio recording software >> The commonwealth games are also known as friendly games.It is a multi sport event that happened every four years and that hosted in different country around the world.In 2010 the games was held in Delhi India the next games are going to be held in 2018 in gold cost Australia.The current commonwealth games are in Glasgow Scotland and athletes are taking part.

The life education caravan

Here is my writing about Harold and Lynn.

Have you been on the Life Education caravan before?Well every year my class and I went to the Life Education caravan to learn about ways to make our bodies strong, healthy and safe.Last week on Tuesday class 9 walked down to the caravan for our session .Lynn was our teacher and she talked to us about how we can make our bodies grow,safe and healthy.

We learned five things of how to make our bodies grow.One of them is Drinking.You must drink at least five or six water  everyday.Fitness is really good    it helps you get fit,healthy and strong.

Also in the caravan there was a giraffe named Harold,but it wasn't really a real giraffe it was a puppet,he died in orana wildlife park,and there was Lynn the teacher,she teaches us lots of things.

At the end Lynn gave Harold books for  class 9 to take  and then we had to say by to Harold and Lynn.I felt happy to go in to the caravan and to see Lynn and Harold.That was my second time in the Life Education Caravan.

Living the right way

Doing the right thing even when it's hard will always be the best choice.My favourite part of the story today is when Daniel got threw en into the den with lions and then he prayed to god and then god send some angles to close the lions mouth.But the bad mens that told that Daniel was praying to god they got trewen into the den with the lions and got eaten

My special holidays

Here is my writing about my special holidays.

P1:Introduction

Did you enjoy in your holidays?Our school finished on friday 4th July for term break.I was so excited because I couldn’t wait to go to my cousins house.My cousins and I did lots of things durinng the holidays.I’m going to tell you about them.

P2:

The First week of the holidays I went to my cousin Nikki’s house in otara 24 civil place. When I got there Nikki was so excited to see me. She said “Kura finally you can sleep over’’ and I repeated after her“yaye! where are we going to sleep?” We had to sleep in the sitting room. We were watching disney channel Austin and Ally,After the cartoon we had to go sleep cause it was getting late. The next morning we woke up and then we had breakfast for breakfast we had toast with baked beans and and with eggs.

P3:

The second week of the holidays I came back home with my mum. we went straight to my papa's house(papa nga)for my groups ice challenge,these are the peoples that took part of the ice challenge My dad(tuaine), uncle(junior), cousin(turuhira), cousin(sam), uncle(ngarra).“It was freezing”said my dad. If we didn’t do the ice challenge then we had to pay twenty dollars to fundraise for the people that had cancer.

I felt happy about my holidays because of the ice challenges. Next time I hope to go to the rainbows end.

Here is some information of a country that is taking part in the XX Commonwealth Games.

The goal

This story is about Jerome. He got a cap for his birthday and wanted to be a basketball player. His mum said if he got 10 shots in, she would get him something special. But something funny happened instead. At the end of the story Jerome got an all blacks jersey and he joined the all blacks team too.

Paper plane

This week we are learning about length for measurement.Today I made a paper plane to learn about length and show distance.I measured it using steps.I thought that it was going to fly 10 steps across the deck outside our class but it only flew 7 steps instead.
