I will miss the teachers very much and I hope they have a happy holiday.
It is the holidays tomorrow so I hope everyone has a great holiday. My favourite thing from this term was when we got to have our own bank accounts. My favourite thing is also when we got to go into groups and build objects and we had our market day and trade fair. I hope you enjoy my blog post and feel free to check out my other blog post through the holiday.Friday, 25 September 2015

Intergers fraction problems
WALT: Solve number problems using fractions
This week we have been learning about fractions. To solve the answers for the google drawing that I have made to answer you have to just divide into groups for example: If I had a quistion to answer and you have to solve it out and the number is 2/5 of 10 so what you do is that you have to divide 10 into 2 groups it will make 5 then you do 5 x 5 = 25 and then the answer will be 25.
Strategies to use:
Multiplication basic facts

Fraction wall quistions
WALT: solve equivalent fraction problems using a fraction wall.
This week my group has given a problem to solve using a fracton wall. We had to use a fraction wall to help us solve our work, as you can see up the top there is my work that I have been given from the teacher to solve it I also used the fraction wall to solve it. From this task I have learnt that in equivalent fractions you have to multiply a number to the denominator and the numerator.
