Today in C.R.E  Mrs Clarke was talking about how King Saul was jealous of David.David hid in a cave while King Saul was sitting there,David cut off a piece from his coat.Everyone was talking  about David and singing a song being a good warrior.

The boat race

We are reading a story called The boat race by Kay ward.On page 17,Tim describes his digram of making a boat.Here is the paragraph and my picture.

The diagram showed one end of the straw sticking out of through the back of the boat under water.The other end had the mouth of a balloon taped over it.

A long time ago it was safe for people to walk along the coastal areas in search of kaimoana (seafood). But as time changed so did the distance of collecting food.

Today in C.R.E we first said the pray and then we  did a play called David and the Goliath.It was fun because we sang a song called my God is so big.In this story David has 7 brothers and sisters,David was the youngest he lived in Israel.In Israel there was biggest enemies were the philistines.If the philistines won,the then the Israelites had to be their slaves when we finished then we said the pray and then Mrs Clark had to go.

The bible

Today in C.R.E we learned how to look for some verse like Proverbs 16 verse 24 and it reads: Kind words are like honey-sweet to the taste and good for your health. which means saying something nice things to others helps them to feel good.One thing I leaned was learning about the bible.
