WALT:  solve multiplication and division number problems using more than one strategy

1. 12 divided by 2= 6

6 x 2 = 12

2. 30 divided by 6= 5

5 x 6 = 30

3. 24 divided by 3= 8

8 x 3 = 24

4. 20 divided by 4= 5

5 x 4 = 20

5. 60 divided by 10= 6

6 x 10 = 60

6. 35 divided by 5= 7

7 x 5 = 35

Solve these with remainders:

7. 19 divided by 2= 18 r 1

  2 x 9 = 18

18 + 1 = 19

8. 32 divided by 6= 5 r 2

  5 x 6 = 30 + 2 = 32

9. 25 divided by 3= 8 r 1

8 x 3 = 24 + 1 = 25

10. 18 divided by 4= 4 r 2

4 x 4 = 16 + 2 = 18

11. 53 divided by 10= 5 r 3

5 x 10 = 50 + 3 = 53

12. 44 divided by 5= 8 r 4

5 x 8 = 40 + 4 = 44
