This week my maths group has been learnimg about how to use one stragey than one.

This week the intergers has been learning about how to slove two deffrent stragey using two diffrent ways.

Tapa Photo Album

WALT: put our self into the text


For this task I have learnt about tapa cloths. Tapa cloths are made in the islands of the pacifc Ocean, Tongan, Samoa, and fiji. But as far afield as Nuie, Cookisland, Futuna, Solomon island, Java, New zealand and many more. What we had to do for the task is that we had to read the jounal first.

This week we have been learning about addition and subtraction. We also had to do two stragety for both promblem. One of the stragey was tidy numbers and the other one was place value.

1. 192 + 34 = 226       2. 27 + 39 + 18 =
 100 + 0 = 100                20 + 30 + 10 = 60
90 + 30 = 120                   7 + 9 + 8 = 24
2 + 4 = 6                          60 + 24 = 84
100 + 120 + 6 = 226

Equalising Fractions

WALT: Identify and compare fractions

This week we have been learning about fractions and as you can see that in this equation there are hard ones. The way I solved this is that for example 3/4 = 10/4 the reason why it is 10 beacuse all you do you just do 4 x 10 = 40 and for one more example hmmmmmmmm lets try doing this one if you get this answer can you please a comment( 8/9 = /4 what is the top number for this?) Similes

We are learning how to use similes to describe things in our writting to capture our Audiance.

This week Mr Goodwins letracy class has been with Mrs Tito and what we do with her we do moari but in this kind of moari we are learning to create some similes and to build our own.

My super hero power

Walt: write effective paragraphs using juicy and exciting words. If I had super powers it would be a power that can heal people, like if someone is sick then I can just raise my hand over them and just wave it once over their face and then it will be healed even if some one got bashed on the eye and mouth it will still heal. When someone's leg was broken or if their arm was broken then I would make sure that it will heal with my hands and by that I will have to hold their legs or arm to heal but it will take about a day to get healed the reason why it will take a day to get healed because how big the leg is and how big their arms are. My powers it will look so bright that will be so shiny yellow. My power is a skill that I could be able to do. If I had my imagination powers then it will feel so nice it will feel like a sun inside my hand and it will be so bright like a light shining from my hand. In the past few days we hade to write jucy words and also this tasked asked us to write intreseting juicy words in our paragrapghs. we were learning to write effective paragraph using juicy words and exciting words. This writting is all about supper powers.
