Intro: Statistics

WALT: find the average ( mean ), median and mode.


This week Miss Berrys maths class has been learning about statistics. In the top slide there are some statistics. What we had to do was that we had to work some numbers into avergae(mean), meadian, and mode. Hope you enjoy :).

Re-crafting

WALT:  Deconstruct, and re-craft our pharagraphs so they they are more intrensting for our readers.

My neighbour’s granddaughter, Adrianna, came over.  On a exhausted sunny day, we were smelling and sweating like hippos and bursting hot,what we needed to do is just cool off. So we decided to go to the beach that had nice and cold water. We sweated like rain drops dripping down our face. While we were in the nice and cool water we didn’t Bother to get out. Every sunny day we would go to the beach where the water is.

My description:

Today we have been learning to re craft writtings that our teacher gives to us and take out the boaring words and put in the intresting words. What we had to do is read the paragraph that our teacher gives us and buddy up with someone, my buddy was Lotu, then we had to re write the paragraph with intresting words, once the time is up we have to share out what we worte dow. Once we finish writting it down other students help to give more feedback back to help us for our writting to get better.

Christmas Gif card

WALT: Make our own Gif.

 

My writing group had to make our own gifs. A gif is when a you crate a moving picture. What we had to do was that we had to make a new google drawing from drive and then add some christmas pictures to it. When I was creating my gif it felt like I was creating a new animation. Creating a gif is similar to creating a animation.

My maths class has been learning about animals native to new zealand. What I did on the top is that I have made a presentaion to show all the things about the native animals from or to New Zealand. I hope you liked my presentaion thankyou.

My Follow up activity Week 7

WALT: Solve fraction problem using my knowledge of multiplacation and division facts.

This week my maths group has been learning about Fractions. What my whole maths group did was that we had to fill in some answers to the quistions. On the top of this writting there is a google drawing with answers and quistions in but on top of that there is a screen shot of my knowledge of how I got my answers.

Statistics

WALT: Study informations (data), collect it, summarise and present it.


My maths class has been doing statistics. What we had to do first was make a new goole form sheet from our google drive, we also needed other diffrent type of people to vote what their favourite fruit was. This whole task is about getting more imformation and ideas about stuff and peoples.

The most favourite fruit was mango. Orange and apple came out of a tie. The last favoured fruit was banana.
